DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday February 17, 2022

Hello Dancers, 

   You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday February 17, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and roses for all ladies. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The spectacular DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS to prevent COVID spread?  Well, the homeowners association has requested mask-wearing to meet COVID coronavirus requirements. In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, cough, or other cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A VALENTINES & FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, February 10th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, and 50 dancers, and a lot of red clothing. Here are a few photos copied from various Facebooks:
  

 

BEFORE EATING, the dancers posed for the photo above, and then Nedy gave a prayer and blessing for the food.  Line dancing and ballroom dancing alternated until 10pm.

 

 

 

LINE DANCING and lessons were non-stop from 6pm - 7pm.  In the photo above, a SPECIAL NUMBER by the Eastlake Dance Group, Geraldine, Janet and Irish were in the front line dancing "Ten Guitars" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUbaCK7Mc3A ).

THE CAKE.  Myra baked another fabulous birthday cake for us.  This layered cake featured layers of bananas and cream, and lots of little red Valentine hearts.  Yummy.

  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night Filipino-American dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
