CHINESE NEW YEAR DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday January 27, 2022

Hello Dancers, 

   You are invited to a CHINESE NEW YEAR DANCE PARTY this Thursday January 27, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS to prevent COVID spread?  Well, the homeowners association has requested mask-wearing to meet COVID coronavirus requirements. In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, cough, or other cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, January 20th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, and just over 25 dancers. Here are a few photos: 

 

   LINE DANCING.  Line dancing was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm.  In the photo above, Edith, Nedy and Roland were in front, more or less, dancing to a relatively new one called "Night Tango" (  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTgv2pEaC3I  ). Ballroom and line dancing continued, alternating until 10pm.

  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night best cumbia dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
