Back to Point Point Joint! - This Thurs. Dec 10th

Yes Dancers!  It's Deja Vu,
   Back to Point Point Joint!  Nina and Nick arranged with the new management of Point Point Joint for Thursday night dancing - $8 for entry and $5 for food. It will be a fun dance party again there, and this is your invitation.  The great DJ Bing Villafuerte will play line dances non-stop from 6 to 7pm, then mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  The place: Point Point Joint, 916 E. 8th Street, National City.     

  Last Thursday December 3, 2015, 25 dancers enjoyed the music of DJ Bing, at what seems to have been the last time again at Four Points by Sheraton. Nick & Eden provided food & beverages again.  The hotel moved our dance from the Skies Lounge into another nearby room. THURSDAY DECEMBER 3. 2015 AT FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON, AERO DRIVE:

Line Dancing, and plenty of it, non-stop from 6pm till 7pm.  Above, somehow the line dancers had mastered a "new" one, "Give Me Your Heart Tonight".

Ballroom.  We guys preferred ballroom dances, like above it was Marilyn and Romy dancing the swing "Ooh Poo Pah Doo".

"La Ultima Noche" above.  That line dance has been a favorite for a couple years now.  Front line:  Nedy, Beth, Medy, Edith and Rei.

Rumba.  Above, Dolores and Ruben enjoyed dancing a rumba called "Amor de Rumba".

A few feet away, Eden and Nick also enjoyed that rumba.

Above, Eva, Nedy, Bert Alota and Suzanne were in the front line dancing the "A Namorada" line dance.

Above, Nedy, Beth, Eden and DJ Bing were in the front line for "Let's Get Loud".

Swing.  Above, Dwayne and Eva had fun dancing a swing.

"Rocking Around The Christmas Tree".  There were several Christmas songs, including a line dance that even I knew, "Rocking Around The Christmas Tree".

Group Photo.  Most of the 25 dancers got into this group photo.

Decorated Christmas Tree.  Dolores missed the group photo, but she looked nice by the tree.

Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego - at Point Point Joint they are considered private parties, and this is your invitation to members of the email group to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego.  While the dancing is continuous at these dances, in case you do not know the easy steps used for a particular dance, ask me & I'll get someone to give you a free dance lesson while the music plays.
