Hello Dancers,  
    Well, there will be NO THURSDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday December 11th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950 ( https://lolahappybistro.com/ ), because we reduced the schedule to have dances only for special events, usually every other week.  BUT, be sure to come to the CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY on December 18th, especially if you would like to experience joy this holiday season.

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

A DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, December 4, 2025, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a cool and dry night.  There were almost 50 in attendance thanks in part to 2 Birthday celebrants.  Here are 5 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, most were copied from Facebooks:

A COWBOY & WESTERN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, November 20, 2025, with DJ Nickie Bascos.  Braving a cool & light rainy night, there were over 60 in attendance, thanks in part to 6 first-timers, and birthday celebrants.  Here are 7 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, most were copied from Facebooks (see Ric & Connie's Facebook for more complete photos ( https://www.facebook.com/connie.b.bautista )).

  "THE FRIENDS" PERFORMED.  In the photo above "The Friends", in Cowboy & Western attire, danced a "Boot Scootin' Boogie" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d05tQrhNMkA ) line dance choreographed by Angie.  In the front line were Connie and Josie.  Behind them were Sheila and Angie and Belen.  And, behind them were Beth and Rei.

A HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, October 23, 2025, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night.  There were 50 in attendance, thanks in part to 6 first-timers, and visiting VIPs DJ Marie and her Prime Ladies.  Here are 8 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, all were copied from Facebooks:

  BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Eva and Dwayne danced what appears to be a night-club 2-step dance, in their Halloween costumes.

 

 

  UPCOMING THURSDAY NIGHTS signs for Thursday nights at Lola Happy Bistro were held by "Ring Boys" for a change.  They were Roland, Dwayne, Michael and John in the photo above.

 

 

  "THE FRIENDS" PERFORMED.  In the photo above "The Friends", in Chinese attire with fans and flowing pink scarves, had just danced a Chinese fan dance choreographed by Angie.  In the line-up were Sheila, Nedy, Beth, Angie, Josie and Connie.

 

 

  LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers, in skeleton costumes, performed "THRILLER" line dance ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC-vyPWsYRE ).  In the front line were Remy, Roland and Eva.  Behind them were Irish (hidden) and Lolit.

 

 

 WINNING COUPLES in Halloween Night attire posed for the photo above.  They were Dwayne & Eva, John & Fe, Ver & Ditas, Ric & Connie, Lolit & Michael, DJ Bing & Janet, Irish & Roland, and Remy & Chris.  Josie and Rei were prize donors and handed out prizes.
