   You are invited to a HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Lola Happy Bistro this coming Thursday October 23rd, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950 ( https://lolahappybistro.com/ ), with the amazing DJ Bing Villafuerte, especially if you have a Halloween Night costume.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, and food and beverages off the menu (don't bring any food or beverages - you are urged to buy a dinner, even if you just take it home). DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 9:30pm.  Halloween Night-attired dancers will vie for prizes.  A mild and dry night is currently forecast. 

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

 WINNING COUPLES in Arabian Night attire posed for the photo above.  They were John & Fe, Michael & Lolit, Irish & Roland, Geraldine & Romi, and Eva & Dwayne.  Josie was a prize donor and handed out prizes, along with Lydia.

 A CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY HATS & SHORTS DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, August 28, 2025, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a warm and dry night.  There were 45 in attendance, thanks in part to 5 first-timers.  There were also about 30 people in Lola Happy Bistro, with the Jesus Divine Light group affiliated with St. Mary church, and they were having birthday party.  Here are 7 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, all were copied from Facebooks:

 BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, DJ Bing and Janet were dancing what appears to be a night club 2-step dance.

  LINE DANCING was a favorite.  In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers performed "Wanna Be With You" line dance ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l56ZwSr31Po ).  In the front line, more or less, were Sol, Roland and Eva (slightly off-screen).  Behind them were Irish, Lolit and Merely.

 

 

 "THE FRIENDS" PERFORMED.  In the photo above "The Friends" were dancing another line dance choreographed by Angie.  This line dance was to the song "Rabiosa" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gqdFnKcmOHk ).  In the front line, more or less, were Josie, Nedy and Beth.  Behind them were Connie, Angie and Sheila (partially hidden).

 

 

  WINNING COUPLES in Caribbean Night attire posed for the photo above.  They were Mercy & Cet, Geraldine & Romi, Irish & Roland, Connie & Ric, Janet & DJ Bing, Lolit & Michael, Merely & Willie, Fe & John, and Eva & Dwayne.
