Well, there will be NO THURSDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday November 13th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950 ( https://lolahappybistro.com/ ), because we reduced the schedule to have dances only for special events, usually every other week. BUT, be sure to come to the COWBOY & WESTERN NIGHT DANCE PARTY on November 20th, especially if you have some Cowboy or Western attire.

A NOVEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, November 6, 2025, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night. There were over 40 in attendance thanks in part to 3 first-timers, and 5 Birthday celebrants. Here are 5 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, most were copied from Facebooks:

BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In Nedy's selfie photo above, Michael and Lolit were dancing near Irish and Roland in what appears to be a night club 2-step.
LINE DANCING was a favorite. In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers performed the line dance "Help Me" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhLWTvqsBF0 ). In the front line were Irish, Merely and Lolit. Behind them were Remy, Roland, and Eva.

It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) This is where you find good dancing in San Diego area on a Thursday night, a party with dancing -- at Lola Happy Bistro in National City, with ballroom and line dances, Filipino dances, cha cha cha dancing and swing dancing on a Thursday night in San Diego. While the dancing and music will be non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free one-on-one ballroom and line dance lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
