VALENTINE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday February 15, 2024

Hello Dancers,  

 You are invited to a VALENTINE DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday February 15, 2024, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the miraculous DJ Bing Villafuerte. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages and roses for ladies. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  Another cold but dry night is currently forecast.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A MARDI GRAS NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, February 8th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a cold night with occasional drizzles.  There were just over 40 dancers in attendance, thanks in part to 3 first-timers.  BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on with ballroom dances until 10PM. In the photo above a new group calling themselves "The Friends" were dancing to "You Belong With Me".  They were Karina and Eden in front, with Sheila, Nedy and Beth next, and Rei (hidden) and Belen in the 3rd row.

 

 

 

WINNING COUPLES with Mardi Gras attire at Eastlake.  They were Ric & Connie, Roland & Irish, Edwin & Jhosie, and Aurea & DJ Nickie, in the photo above.

 

 

 WINNING SINGLES with Mardi Gras attire, well most of them, posing in the photo above were Merly, Annie, Jhosie, Chris, Isabel, Nedy, May, Sheila (behind May), Irish, Estrelle, Karina, and Beth.  Other winners not in this photo were Tess, Alice, Mary Jane, Liz, Dita, Amor and Remy.

 

 

 

BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance. Mary Jane and Ruben danced in the photo above.  It looks like it was a swing dance.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
