ST. PATRICK'S DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday March 17, 2022

Hello Dancers, 

   You are invited to a ST. PATRICK'S DANCE PARTY this Thursday March 17, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.

 

  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prize for best attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Now that we are in Daylight Saving Time, there'll be lots of photos by the lake.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The wonderful DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, cough, or other cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A MARCH BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, March 10th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, and 48 dancers. Here are a few photos, some from Nedy's Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/nedy.lao ). 

 

 

LINE DANCING and lessons were non-stop from 6pm - 7pm.  In the photo above, Edith and Beth were in the front line, more or less, dancing to "HEAR MY SONG" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqKLeIuFUII ). 

 

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, the dancers posed for the photo above, and then Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and a prayer that Ukraine gets peace quickly. 

 

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING.  In the photo above, Elsie and Ping were dancing. I'm not sure, but about that time it was the rumba "Esta Noche" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwtDJ5Lu6dw ).

 

 

 

 BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS with birthdays in March lined up for photos by the cake while singing "Happy Birthday".  They were Joe, Ric, Aurea, Sally, Faye, Eva, Dwayne and DJ Nickie.

 

 

 THE CAKE was fabulous.  It was layers of chocolate and white cake separated by whipped cream, and it featured green shamrock cloverleafs on top.

 

 

 

 THE BAKER.  Once again a huge "Thank You!!" to Myra (Veronica) for baking the birthday cake.

Thursday, March 24, 2022:  DANCE PARTY, the 6th anniversary at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Mel Zaragoza.

Thursday, March 31, 2022:  NO DANCE.  Somebody else has an event in the clubhouse that evening.

Thursday, April 7, 2022:  APRIL BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Roses for birthday ladies. Balloons. DJ Bing Villafuerte.

  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night line dance party in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
