DANCE PARTY at Eastlake This Thursday July 26, 2018

Hello Dancers,   

 You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday July 26, 2018, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The miraculous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

Last Thursday (July 19th) was a great SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, and there were about 35 dancers enjoying the music of DJ Bing Villafuerte, as you can see in the 6 photos below.

THURSDAY JULY 19, 2018, SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake:

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm, then off & on until closing time.  Above, some early birds were dancing to "Good Golly Miss Molly" line dance, with Nedy and Belen  in the front line.

FOOD TIME. Above, dancers posed for a photo before eating.  Here's a "Thank You", and some credits for very delicious food. Nick & Eden brought pancit sotanghon and corn.  Karina brought dessert rolls.  Beth brought sandwiches. Ralph brought chicken. Josie brought macaroni salad. Rosa brought turon. Mel Paiste brought seaweed salad. Jake brought leche flan.  Geraldine brought tinoturong.  Larry & Divine brought Madelaine cookies. Belen & Rei brought suman and Greek salad. Trining brought apretada. And, there was more.

LADIES BY THE LAKE.  Josie, Eva and Rosa posed by the lake, in the photo above.  

TANGO.  Lito and Neriza were enjoying dancing to "El Choclo" tango, in the photo above.

SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT BEST ATTIRE WINNERS were recognized in two groups.  Above, the winners of the first group wore animal prints covering both top and bottom.  Eden, Neriza, Geraldine, Rosa, Eva, Nene and Nedy lined up with judges Nina and Edith.

TOPS-ONLY NIGHT BEST ATTIRE WINNERS were recognized in the second group, which was for those wearing animal prints tops.  Beth, Rei, Belen, Josie, Trining and Karina posed with judge Edith.

Thursday, August 9, 2018:  AUGUST BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Cake, roses & balloons. DJ Bing Villafuerte. 


Thursday, August 16, 2018:  SHORTS & BEACH PARTY DANCE NIGHT at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire. DJ Mel Zaragoza.


  It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night with line dances and ballroom dances like swing including cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night dancing in San Diego.  While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
