This Thursday (Halloween, October 31st) will be a great Halloween Dance Party from 6 to 10PM at Point Point Joint Restaurant. There will be costumes, dancing, complimentary snacks and at least one prize for the best costume (more details below).
Last Thursday (October 24th) about 30 dancers showed up at Point Point to enjoy another dance with music by DJ Mel.
Photo Highlights from October 24th: (Note: If the following photos do not appear when you look at this email, click the words at the top of this email that say something like "Show images which are still blocked to protect your privacy" - I already know who you are):
Here we see Lydia and other dancing the favorite line dance of the night, "Blurred Lines" Point Point version.
Around about 9 o'clock Penny was dancing to 'Tonight' by Jessica Sanchez.
A few minutes later, I spotted Gino and Mona dancing a cha cha.
Toward the end of the night, with most guys taking a break, Cheryl and Sally got together to dance to "I'll Be Missing You".
It's a fun dance party most every Thursday night at Point Point with line dances and ballroom swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, tango and much much more. This coming Thursday Point Point Joint Restaurant, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, as usual offers their special price of $10 for 2-entree dinner plus drink for Thursday Night dancers. The Halloween Costume Contest judges will be Lydia, Nina and DJ Leo.
Here's the plan for the next few weeks:

P.S. Other Notes: (1) The Thursday night dance parties are private parties, and this is the invitation to members of the email group to enjoy dancing in Point Point Joint Restaurant, a mere four miles from downtown San Diego. There are dancers who are happy to give free dance lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
