70's DISCO NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday March 30, 2023

Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a 70's DISCO NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday March 30, 2023, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prizes for best 70's Disco attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  Cool but dry weather is forecast for the nighttime.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association finally removed its "masks recommended" sign on the door a few weeks ago.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, March 23rd, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on what turned out to be a dry-weather night.  There were 40 dancers.  The party included a birthday celebration for Eva, and it was the 7th anniversary of Thursday night dancing at Eastlake.  Here are some photos, some are from the Facebooks, where you can see about 100 nice photos:

 

  BY THE LAKE.  Early birds posed by Eastlake on the second Thursday of Daylight Saving Time in 2023.  They were Edith, May, Janet, Edna, Nora and Rei.

  LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In the photo above, Edith and Susie were in the front line, more or less, dancing the "Macarena" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPYw3jXjd74 ).  Some of Eva's granddaughters who were there for Eva's birthday celebration, joined in the Macarena dancing.

 

 

 

 BRILLIANT BIRTHDAY CELEBRANT EVA, with her illuminated crown, posed for the selfie above with Nedy.  There was a birthday cake, balloons and singing during Eva's birthday celebration.

A VALENTINES DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, February 9th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a nice-weather night.  There were over 50 dancers.  Here are four photos, mostly from the Facebooks, where you can see about 200 nice photos:

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In the photo above, Nedy and Mona and Aurea were in the front line.

 MANNY WAS IN THE CENTER of a circle of admirers including Merly and Aurea in the photo above.  He was wearing a beautiful red & white barong shirt.  They were dancing to the merengue "Linda Eh" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fw9orjqEPOc ).

VALENTINES DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday February 9, 2023

Hello Dancers,  

   You are invited to a VALENTINES DANCE PARTY this Thursday February 9, 2023, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and roses for ALL ladies. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The adorable DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  Cool and dry weather is forecast.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A FEBRUARY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, February 2nd, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a nice-weather night.  There were 45 dancers.  Here are some photos, including from the Facebooks, where you can see about 200 nice photos:

 ELVIS PRECISELY came in from Las Vegas for a special performance at Eastlake in the photo above.  Dancers danced to him singing "All Shook Up" and "Don't Be Cruel".

 

 

 

 THE CAKE.  Once again Myra (Veronica) baked a delicious birthday cake for the birthday party.  It was in the photo above.  It was a 3-layer cake with creamy white frosting, and mousse separating the layers.
