Hello Dancers,
Well, there will be NO THURSDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday October 16th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950 ( https://lolahappybistro.com/ ), because we reduced the schedule to have dances only for special events, usually every other week. BUT, be sure to come to the HALLOWEEN NIGHT DANCE PARTY on October 23rd, especially if you have some Halloween costume attire.
DIRECTIONS: Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

An OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro on this past Thursday night, October 9, 2025, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a mild and dry night. There were 70 in attendance thanks in part to 9 first-timers, and 11 Birthday celebrants. Here are 5 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, most were copied from Facebooks:

LINE DANCING was a favorite. In the photo above, Roland's Inspiring Dancers performed the line dance "Boom Boom Mama" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXEuK7moBIY ). In the front line, more or less, were Roland, Mary Jane, Remy, and Merely (off camera). Behind them were Irish (hidden), Lolit and Eva.
UPCOMING THURSDAY NIGHTS signs for Thursday nights at Lola Happy Bistro were held by "Ring Girls" Lolit, first-timers Rose and Venus, and Evelyn in the photo above.
BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Bert Alota and Nena were dancing what appears to be a night club 2-step.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS (7 of the 11). Sheila, Nedy, Belen, Eva ( a 1st-timer), Lolit, Michael, and Rose (another 1st-timer) with birthdays in October, posed for the photo above. Others who were there but not in this photo were Evelyn, Pearl, Siena, and Bert Alota.

Thursday, November 6, 2025: NOVEMBER BIRTHDAYS NIGHT DANCE PARTY for all November celebrants at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950 ( https://lolahappybistro.com/ ). Cake and ice cream. Roses for birthday ladies. Balloons. 6pm - 9:30pm. DJ Bing Villafuerte.
It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) Join the great Thursday night dancing at Lola Happy Bistro in National City, with ballroom and line dances, Filipino dances, salsa dancing and swing dancing on a Thursday night in San Diego. While the dancing and music will be non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free one-on-one ballroom and line dance lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
