Hello Dancers,  

  NO DANCE PARTY at Lola Happy Bistro this coming Thursday, April 3rd, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950 ( https://lolahappybistro.com/ ).  Plan on coming the following Thursday April 10th for the April Birthdays Party, when there'll be lots of dancing, fun, and food and beverages off the menu.   

  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with some regular customers.

A STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro for our third Thursday night party there, this past Thursday, March 27, 2025, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a cool and dry night.  There were about 55 in attendance, thanks in part to 5 first-timers.  Here are 7 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, all copied from Thursday Night Dancers Facebook posts:

  BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Faye and John were dancing what appears to be a night club 2-step.

DJ Nickie will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 9:30pm.  A cool and dry night is currently forecast.

A ST PATRICK'S & MARCH BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro for our first Thursday night party there, this past Thursday, March 13, 2025, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a cold and lightly raining night.  There were about 65 in attendance, thanks in part to 7 first-timers, and 9 who had not been with us since before the pandemic.  Here are 8 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, many copied from Facebook posts:
