BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday January 2, 2025

Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY this coming first Thursday of 2025 - January 2nd -  at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A cold and dry night is currently forecast.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A NEW YEAR'S MASQUERADE DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, December 26, 2024, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a cold and dry night.  There were just over 40 in attendance, thanks in part to 1 first-timer.  Here are 8 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party:

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Most were in masquerade attire.  Ruben gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance.  In the photo above, Eva and Dwayne enjoyed dancing to what looks like a night club 2-step.

 

 

  UPCOMING EVENTS signs for Eastlake were held by "Ring Girls" Nora, Ditas, Melba and Merely in the photo above.

 

 

 SPECIAL PERFORMANCE.  In the photo above, "The Eastlake Dancers" performed the line dance "Blowin' Smoke" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbVxyan5txk ). Irish and Lolit were in the front line. Eva was behind them.  Merely (hidden) and Roland were in back.

A CHRISTMAS & DECEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, December 19, 2024, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a cool and dry night.  There were just over 70 in attendance, second highest of 2024, thanks in part to 7 first-timers.  Here are 6 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party:

COWBOY & WESTERN DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday November 21, 2024

Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a COWBOY & WESTERN DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday November 21, 2024, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the miraculous DJ Bing Villafuerte.  Join the fun before there are 3 WEEKS in a row WITH NO DANCES (until the December Birthdays & Christmas Party). There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. Cowboy & Western-attired winners vie for prizes.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A cool and dry night is currently forecast.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, November 14, 2024, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a cool and dry night.  There were 45 in attendance, thanks in part to 2 first-timers.  Here are 6 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party; most were copied from Facebook posts:

  BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance.  In the photo above, Belen and Ver were dancing what appears to be a night-club two-step dance.

 

 

  LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm until almost 7:30 and off & on, alternating with ballroom dances, until 10pm.  In the photo above, Lolit and Belen were in the front line.

 

 

  UPCOMING EVENTS signs were held by "Ring Girls" Aurea, Elaine, first-timer Evelyn, Juliet and Merely in the photo above. Note that there now will be 3 Thursdays in a row with no dance due to another Eastlake event taking precedence.

 

 

  SPECIAL PERFORMANCE.  In the photo above, "The Eastlake Dancers" performed the line dance  "APT" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhXLiwcaFlI ). Lolit and Irish were in front line. Roland and Merely were in the 2nd line.
