OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday October 14, 2021

 

  Hello Dancers,  

   You are invited to an OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY this Thursday October 14, 2021, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation, especially if you have an October birthday for your rose or balloon and cake.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The phenomenal DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm. Come - for the 12th week back after being closed (mostly for the COVID coronavirus pandemic) for 17 months.

  MASKS to prevent COVID spread?  Well, the homeowners association has not issued any COVID coronavirus requirements. But, in order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, cough, or other cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

ARABIAN NIGHT AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, October 7th, with DJ Bing, and dancers were dressed up beautifully.  As the night went on, all sorts of enthusiasm was displayed, such as "YMCA", limbo dancing and more, much of it on video in the Eastlake Facebook Group.  Here are a few photos:

 

 

 

 BY THE LAKE.  In the photo above, it was Aida, Belen and Edith by the shore of Eastlake early in the evening. There's only 4 more Thursdays of Daylight Saving Time.

 

 

 

LINE DANCING.  Line dancing was non-stop from 6pm - 7pm.  Carmen, Nedy and DJ Bing were in the front line, more or less, in the photo above, dancing the the "Africa Bum Bum" line dance ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgIdwWgG64g ). 

 

 

 

POSE BEFORE FOOD TIME. Dancers posed for the photo above before eating a marvelous selection of food. There were 50 dancers enjoying great food during the night.

  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night salsa dancing in San Diego, and many other types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
