DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday July 7, 2022

 Hello Dancers,  

  There will be a DANCE PARTY this Thursday July 7, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The spectacular DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A RED, WHITE & BLUE NIGHT DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, June 30th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, and over 40 dancers. Here are some photos:

LINE DANCING (with lessons) was non-stop from 6 until 7pm, and then off & on until 10pm.  In the photo above, Florita, Cindy and Roland were in front, more or less.

A DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, June 16th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, and 30 dancers, thanks in part to 5 new first-timers again. The dance was ended about 9:15 when the plumbing backed up. Here are some photos:

 THE BIRTHDAY CAKE.  Once again, Myra (Veronica) brought a fabulous layer cake.  This cake was distinguished by the fancy lettering and decoration.

 

 

 THE BIRTHDAY PARTY.  While Josie and Irish cut the cake, others sang "Happy Birthday", even though we found no one with a June birthday.!!

 LINE DANCING (with lessons) was non-stop from 6 until 7pm, and then off & on until 10pm.  In the photo above, Nedy, DJ Bing and Edith were in the front line, more or less, dancing to the new-at-Eastlake line dance "Roll It, Roll It" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nw9eJE5yWBc ).

PROBLEMS at Eastlake Clubhouse Today - No Bathrooms

Hi Dancers,
  I was just told that the bathrooms will be closed at the Eastlake clubhouse due to a plumbing blockage, seriously affecting our dance party's amenities.
  Below I paste a map of where an alternate bathroom supposedly will be about a mile away.
  We do not know if the kitchen sink is affected.

SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday June 2, 2022

Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS DANCE PARTY this Thursday June 2, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages and prizes for best attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
