CINCO DE MAYO & MEXICAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday May 5, 2022

Hello Dancers, 

  You are invited to a CINCO DE MAYO & MEXICAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY this Thursday May 5, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.  Rosa said that technically it won't be "Mexican Night", but "City of Puebla Night" instead.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages and prizes for best attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The miraculous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, April 28th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, and about 30 dancers. Here are a few photos:

LINE DANCING (with lessons) was non-stop from 6 until 7pm, and then off & on until 10pm.  In the photo above, Jasmine, Beth and Nanie were in the front line, more or less, dancing to the line dance for "Despacito" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eUDjBmUudk ).

BEFORE EATING, the dancers posed for the photo above, and then Beth gave a blessing for the food, and a prayer for world peace.
