HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday October 31, 2024

Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday October 31, 2024, Halloween Night, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the spectacular DJ Bing Villafuerte.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  Halloween-attired dancers vie for prizes, BUT, due to HOA complaints, PLEASE do not wear glitter that could fall onto the clubhouse floor.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A cool and dry night is currently forecast.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, October 24, 2024, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a mild and dry night.  There were over 30 in attendance.  Here are 7 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party; most were copied from Facebook posts:

  BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above.   Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

  LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm until almost 7:30 and off & on until 10pm.  In the photo above, Annie and Rossana were in front, more or less, dancing to "Imelda's Way (Inside Out)" line dance ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Czv4_WvuUSs ).

 

 

  UPCOMING EVENTS signs were held by "Ring Girls" Rossana, Sally, Jennie and Nena in the photo above.

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, DJ Bing was dancing with Janet.  I think it was a swing dance.

 

 

 MONA & RUBEN DANCED in the couples exhibitions.  It was a salsa dance.

 

 

  EVA & DWAYNE DANCED as the ballroom exhibitions continued.  I think they danced a cha cha.

Thursday, November 21, 2024:  COWBOY & WESTERN NIGHT at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Cowboy/Cowgirl & Western-attired winners vie for prizes. DJ Bing Villafuerte.


 It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
