BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday October 24, 2024

Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday October 24, 2024, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the adorable DJ Bing Villafuerte.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages.  It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A mild and dry night is currently forecast.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A POLKA DOT NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, October 17, 2024, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a cool and dry night.  There were almost 60 in attendance.  Here are 9 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party; most all were copied from Facebook posts:

  BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Most were in Polka Dot Night attire.  Romy Maraya gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

  FOOD was great, thanks to dancers who brought it in. The photo above is of part of the desserts table.

  LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6pm until almost 7:30 and off & on until 10pm.  In the photo above, "The Friends" performed a special line dance to "Ain't Nothing Gonna Keep Me From You" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0ELr-hXwwY ), choreographed by Angie.

 

 

  BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.  Belen and Nedy smiled over a special birthday cake from Myra (Veronica). I think their birthdays are on or near October 17th.

 

 

  WINNING COUPLES in Polka Dot Night attire posed for the photo above.  They were Romi & Geraldine, Belen & Franco, Remy & Chris, Irish & Roland, Ver & Ditas, and Joe & Nora.  Josie was a prize donor, and she handed out prizes, along with Rei.  DJ Bing & Janet were also winners, but not in this photo.

 

 

  WINNING SINGLES in Polka Dot Night attire posed for the photo above.  In this photo we see Edna, Annie, Myrna, Jhosie, Merely, Mary Jane, Liz, Alice, Ruben, Lou, Estrelle, Mel, Angie, Melba, Connie, Lolit, Aida, Minda, Eden, Sheila, Fe, Nedy and Eva.  Other winners who were not in this photo were Gemma, Isabel, Rocio, and Mona.

Thursday, November 14, 2024: BALLROOM & LINE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Nickie Bascos


 It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
