NO DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday April 6, 2023

 Hello Dancers,  

 Sorry, but there will be NO DANCE this Thursday April 6th at Eastlake, in honor of Holy Thursday.  But, please come dancing the following week, April 13th for dancing and the April birthdays party.
 
  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association finally removed its "masks recommended" sign on the door a few weeks ago.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A 70's DISCO NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, March 30th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, and we had no rain during the dance party.  There were 50 dancers.  The party included a birthday celebration for Cindy and Victoria.  Here are some photos, most are from the Facebooks, where you can see about 200 nice photos and some videos:

 

 

 BY THE LAKE.  Early in the evening there were people posing by Eastlake. In the photo above they were Michael, Lolit, Rei, Edith, Faye, Nida, Geraldine and May.

 

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the photo above. Beth gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In the photo above, Eden, Esta and Evelyn were in the front line, more or less, dancing to what I think was "Bachata Risma" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VO-gndsGLvo ).

 

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING was frequent, too, during 70's disco Night.  In the photo above, Chito and Elaine were dancing to what may have been a cha cha.

 

 

 

 BIRTHDAY GIRLS posed for the photo above.  Cindy and Victoria honored Eastlake by having birthday parties at Eastlake on 70's Disco Night.  They and their husbands brought an abundance of great food for the birthday celebration.

 

 

 

 BEST 70's DISCO ATTIRED COUPLES posed for the photo above.  They were Janet & Bing, Faye & John, Michael & Lolit, and Irish & Roland.

 

 

 

BEST 70's DISCO ATTIRE - LADIES & MANNY posed for the photo above.  They were Annie, Beth, Victoria, Lou, Edna, Nida, May, Estrelle, Manny, Karina, Sheila and Eva.  Geraldine, Gemma and Elaine were also winners but were not in this photo.

Thursday, April 20, 2023:  FLOWER PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best Flower Prints Night attire.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, April 27, 2023:  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night bachata dancing in San Diego, with many other types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
