DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday April 27, 2023

Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday April 27, 2023, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share.  The fabulous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  Another pleasant-weather night is currently forecast.
 
DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A FLOWER PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, April 20th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, on a great-weather night.  There were almost 50 in attendance.  Here are some photos, some from the Facebooks, where you can see over 100 nice photos:

 

 

 BY THE LAKE.  Early in the evening there were people posing by Eastlake. In the photo above Nida, Lolit, Nedy, May, Gemma and Susie posed for a selfie. 

 

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In Nedy's selfie  above, it was Edith, Janet and Delia more or less in the front line, dancing to what I think was "La Ultima Noche" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eqyc55qYzvA ).

 

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING was frequent.  In the photo above, Romy and Lolit were swing dancing to an Elvis Medley ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MBH9-mVYAg ). 

 

 

 

 WINNING COUPLES wearing flower prints on Flower Prints Night posed for the photo above.  The couples were Chito & Cindy, Michael & Lolit, John & Faye, Elaine & John, Nida & Charlie, and Irish & Roland.  Former Director of Finance, Nina, was visiting from northern California, and she helped hand out prizes.  Josie donated several prizes.

Thursday, May 4, 2023:  CINCO DE MAYO MEXICAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best Mexican Night attire.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, May 11, 2023:  NO DANCE PARTY at Eastlake. The clubhouse is reserved for another group on that day.


Thursday, May 18, 2023:  MAY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Roses for birthday ladies.  DJ Nickie Bascos.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night hustle dance in San Diego, with many other types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
