HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday October 27, 2022

Hello Dancers, 

  There will be a HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY this Thursday October 27, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, and prizes for best Halloween attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The fabulous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, October 20th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, and about 40 dancers, thanks in part to three 1st-timers. Here are some photos: 

 

 

LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm.  In the photo above Roland, Irish and Edith were in the front line, more or less, dancing to a relatively new one at Eastlake, "Mi Amor Reggaeton" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKem2s7QzT8 ) 

 

 

 

 BY THE LAKE AT SUNSET.  Nora, Janet, Irish, Victoria, Lolit, Lou and Nedy posed for the photo above at sunset by Eastlake.  You can see several more lakeside photos in the Eastlake Facebook. We only have 2 more weeks of Daylight Saving Time.

 

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and a prayer for Fred and the Weber family. Fred and his son Fred, Jr., were welcomed by Eastlake dancers, and he gave us information about Carmen's visitation at Glen Abbey, which will take place on Thursday evening, November 10th, which is coincidentally the night there will be NO dance at Eastlake.

 

 

 

 INSIDE A CIRCLE of cheerful women, Mel was doing some kind of dance with Edna to the swing dance "More Than A Woman" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=717TcuN_-oo ).

 

 

 

BALLROOM DANCING was frequent.  In the photo above, Lolit and Hector were enjoying dancing. The dance was probably a swing dance.

Thursday, November 3, 2022:  NOVEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Roses for November's birthday ladies, and balloons.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, November 10, 2022:  NO DANCE.  Another group reserved the Clubhouse for Nov. 10th.


Thursday, November 17, 2022:  STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best attire.  DJ Nickie Bascos


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night hustle dancing in San Diego, with many other types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
