DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday October 20, 2022

Hello Dancers, 

  There will be a DANCE PARTY this Thursday October 20, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The great DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

THE OCTOBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, October 13th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, and 56 dancers again, thanks in part to two 1st-timers. Here are some photos:  

 

 

 BY THE LAKE AT SUNSET.  Joe, Nora, Belen, Rei, Dan, Liz, Edith and Mel posed for the photo above at sunset by Eastlake, before the dance started.  You can see several more lakeside photos in the Eastlake Facebook. We only have 3 more weeks of Daylight Saving Time.

 

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm.  Nedy got the photo above when Faye, Mona and Kris were in the front line, more or less. This and maybe 100 photos are in Facebook.

 

 

 

 DELICIOUS FOOD was in abundance, thanks to people who donated it.  In the photo above was one of two tables full of food, before we ate it.

 

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and a thank you for the food.

 

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING was frequent.  In the photo above, Annie and Leo were enjoying dancing to the merengue "Suavemente" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPiEbYSF9kE&ob=av2n )

 

 

  THE BIRTHDAY CAKE was another delicious creation by Myra (Veronica), complete with orange flowers, perhaps for pre-Halloween.

 

 

 BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS with October birthdays posed behind The Cake at Eastlake.  They were Belen, Geraldine, Lolit, Nedy, Merly, Bernie and Sheila.

Thursday, November 3, 2022:  NOVEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Roses for November's birthday ladies, and balloons.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, November 10, 2022:  NO DANCE.  Another group reserved the Clubhouse for Nov. 10th.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dancing in San Diego, with many other types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
