RED, WHITE & BLUE DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday June 30, 2022

 Hello Dancers,  

  There will be a RED, WHITE & BLUE DANCE PARTY this Thursday June 30, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages, and prizes for best Red, White & Blue attire. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The adorable DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A FLOWER PRINTS NIGHT DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, June 23rd, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, and 35 dancers. Here are some photos:

 LINE DANCING (with lessons) was non-stop from 6 until 7pm, and then off & on until 9:15pm.  In the photo above, Estrelle, DJ Bing and Mona were in front, more or less, dancing to "Mi Mom Bon", which I think is a line dance unique to Eastlake.  How about a video of it, please.   (Here's a video of the singers:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTJLLYSkVAY ).

 

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the photo above. Beth gave a blessing for the food, and a prayer for the health of everyone, for peace in Ukraine, and for Delia's mother who recently passed away.

 

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING was frequent.  Joe may have been the most energetic dancer, like in the photo above dipping Mona during a cha cha.

 

 

 

 GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN was the music ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIb6AZdTr-A ), and a circle of energetic fun-loving girls managed to lure Pete into their circle to dance with Cris, in the photo above.

  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night hustle dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
