DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday March 3, 2022

Hello Dancers, 

   You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday March 3, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The incredible DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association downgraded to a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, cough, or other cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A MARDI GRAS DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, February 24th, with DJ Mel Zaragoza, about 40 dancers. Here are a few photos, some copied from the Eastlake Shore Thursday Dancer Group Facebook  ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/1891499784211962 ). 

 

 

TWILIGHT ON THE LAKE.  Nedy got a selfie of twilight on Eastlake just before 6pm.  Daylight saving time will be in place for the St. Patricks Dance Party.

 

 

 LINE DANCING and lessons were non-stop from 6pm - 7pm.  In the photo above, Roland and Bing were in the front line dancing a special number line dance, "STYLE" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQhXss8dErA ).  Faye made the ladies' skirts and the guys' vests.  I learned that the traditional colors of Mardi Gras are purple, green and gold.

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, the dancers posed for the photo above, and then Nedy gave a blessing for the food, a prayer that Nick's family has consolation and peace, and that the people and government of Ukraine get peace quickly.  Sadly, Nick passed away Sunday February 20th.

Thursday, March 24, 2022:  DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. DJ Mel Zaragoza.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night cumbia dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
