Hello Dancers,  

  You are invited to a SAFARI & ANIMAL PRINTS DANCE PARTY this coming Thursday April 18, 2024, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista, with the amazing DJ Bing Villafuerte. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. Animal Prints-attired winners vie for prizes. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. DJ Bing will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.  A cool and cloudy night is currently forecast.

  DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake this past Thursday, April 11th, with DJ Nicie Bascos, on a mild and dry night.  There were just over 40 dancers in attendance. Here are 5 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party.  Most were copied from earlier Facebook posts:

 

LADIES BY EASTLAKE.  Early birds Aurea, Edith and Edith's daughters Stella, Valerie and Debbie  posed lakeside in the photo above.

 

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on with ballroom dances until 10pm. In the photo above DJ Nickie was leading in the front row, with Aurea, and behind them were Connie & Myrna (both hidden), and Annie.

 

 

 
BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the group photo above. Beth gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance. Aurea and DJ Nickie danced in the photo above.  It looks like it was a swing dance.

 

 

 SPECIAL NUMBER.  "The Eastlake Dancers" mostly in purple attire, performed a special line dance to the song "Always Remember"  ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kou-29YLE7Q  ).  They were Valerie, Irish and Lolit in front, Connie, Liz, Eva (hidden) and Merly in the middle, with Roland, Fe and Cezar in the 3rd row.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
