AUGUST BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday August 11, 2022

Hello Dancers, 

  There will be an AUGUST BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY this Thursday August 11, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, roses for ladies with August birthdays, and balloons. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation, especially if you have birthday in August.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The wonderful DJ Nickie Bascos will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A HAWAIIAN NIGHT DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, July 28th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, about 60 dancers, close to an all time record for the Thursday nights at Eastlake, thanks in part to 12 1st-timers. Here are some photos:

 BALLROOM DANCING was frequent.  In the photo above, Zaldy and Florita were enjoying a swing.  Zaldy is a well-known dancer who came for his 1st-time to an Eastlake Thursday night party with several others to wish Florita a bon voyage, or "Till we meet again" next year, said Florita, who's going back to the Philippines.

This is the best Thursday night Filipino-American dancing in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.

DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday July 7, 2022

 Hello Dancers,  

  There will be a DANCE PARTY this Thursday July 7, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The spectacular DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A RED, WHITE & BLUE NIGHT DANCE PARTY AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, June 30th, with DJ Bing Villafuerte, and over 40 dancers. Here are some photos:

LINE DANCING (with lessons) was non-stop from 6 until 7pm, and then off & on until 10pm.  In the photo above, Florita, Cindy and Roland were in front, more or less.

WINNING COUPLES with Red, White & Blue attire posed for the photo above.  They were Ruben & Sue (matched just for these awards), Janet & DJ Bing, Irish & Roland, Connie & Ric (who was taking this photo).  Chito & Cindy and Dwayne & Eva were also winning couples, but they were not in the photo above.

 

 

WINNING LADIES with Red, White & Blue posed for the photo above.  They were Jhosie, Liz, Gloria, Faye, Edna, Bonnie, Lolit, Victoria, Mae, Belen, Estrelle and Lou.  Amie, Betty, Chona, Ellen, Florita, Mona, Remy and Vicky were also winners, but they were not in this photo.
