DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday May 19, 2022

Hello Dancers, 

  You are invited to a DANCE PARTY this Thursday May 19, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The marvelous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A MAY BIRTHDAYS PARTY NIGHT DANCE AT EASTLAKE was last Thursday, May 12th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, and 55 dancers. Here are a few photos:

 THE CAKE.  Once again, Myra baked and brought a fabulous birthday cake for the Eastlake birthday party.  Beneath the white frosting and green trim, the cake was delicious chocolate layered with chocolate mousse.

 

 

 

BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS Sue and Edith sang along to "Happy Birthday", while a dozen photographers took pictures.

 

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING alternated with line dances.  In the photo above, Dwayne and Sue were dancing to a night club two-step.

 BAKIT PA SINGERS Faye, Eva, Lolit, Irish, Victoria, Lou and Florita, in the photo above.  I think Lou hustled about to re-create the Bakit Pa Singers to sing their hearts out.  I had not seen the group since 2015 (in photo below).  "Bakit Pa" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2JMc89wUIA ) apparently was popular in the Philippines.

 LINE DANCING and lessons were non-stop from 6pm - 7pm.  In the photo above, Cindy and Florita (who is still visiting from the Philippines) were more or less dancing to one of the line dances.

Hello Dancers, 

   You are invited to an APRIL BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY this Thursday April 7, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, beverages, roses for birthday ladies, and balloons. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The fabulous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.
