NO DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday May 25, 2023

Hello Dancers,  

   Sorry, but there will be NO DANCE this Thursday May 25th at Eastlake.  Another group reserved the Clubhouse.  But, please come dancing the following week, June 1st for dancing and the June birthdays party.
 

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A MAY BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, May 18th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a nice-weather night.  There were 55 in attendance.  Here are some photos, all copied from Facebooks:

 

 BY THE LAKE.  Early in the evening there were people posing by Eastlake. In the photo above Annie, Lolit, Nedy, Estrelle, Nora and Jhosie posed by Eastlake early in the evening.

 

 

 LINE DANCING was non-stop from 6 to 7pm, and off and on until 10PM.  In the photo above, DJ Bing, Jhosie and May were in the front line, more or less.  Later in the evening the ladies in the pink "GAP" shirts danced a special number, a "Zumba Dance Mix" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QKnxVOPOIk ).

 

 

 

 BEFORE EATING, dancers posed for the photo above. Nedy gave a blessing for the food, and thankfulness for bringing us all together.

 

 

 

 BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS, John, Mary Jane, Edith and Manny, with birthdays in May, posed for the photo above, holding gift cards from DJ Nickie, along with a delicious cake provided by Myra (Veronica).

 

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING was plentiful.  In the photo above, Joel and Rita were dancing a nightclub 2-step.

Thursday, June 1, 2023:  JUNE BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Roses for birthday ladies.  DJ Bing Villafuerte.


Thursday, June 8, 2023:  FILIPINO NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Eastlake, 6pm-10pm at the Eastlake Shores Beach Clubhouse, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista CA 91913. Prizes for best Filipino Night attire.  DJ Nickie Bascos.


Thursday, June 15, 2023:  NO DANCE PARTY at Eastlake. The clubhouse is reserved for another group on that day.


  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night dance in San Diego, with many other types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
