DANCE PARTY at Eastlake Thursday September 15, 2022

Hello Dancers, 

  There will be a DANCE PARTY this Thursday September 15, 2022, at Eastlake Shores, 2050 Lakeshore Drive, Chula Vista. There'll be lots of dancing, fun, food, and beverages. It's a "private party" and this is your invitation.  Dancers are welcome to bring a dish of food to share. The miraculous DJ Bing Villafuerte will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 10pm.

  MASKS required?  Well, the homeowners association still has a "masks recommended" sign on the door.  In order to have a healthy dance, please do not come in if you have a fever, a bad cough, or other serious cold or flu symptoms.  Anyone can wear a mask who chooses. Everyone should bring a mask, just in case the requirements change at the last minute.

DIRECTIONS: Take H Street east to Eastlake Drive.  Go right one block, then turn right onto Lakeshore Drive. Then, turn left immediately into the parking lot of 2050 Lakeshore Drive.  The Eastlake Shores Clubhouse is behind the gated fence.

A SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAYS DANCE PARTY was at Eastlake last Thursday, September 8th, with DJ Nickie Bascos, and about 50 dancers, thanks in part to some dancers returning after nearly a year and 3 first-timers. Here are some photos:

  LINE DANCING (with lessons) was non-stop from 6 until 7pm, and then off & on until 10pm.  In the photo above, Irish, Estrelle and Edna were in front, more or less, dancing the popular line dance at Eastlake called "Cold Heart" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1De2dpLmRas ).

  It's a fun dance party most Thursday nights with line dances and ballroom dances like swing, cha cha, night club 2-step, cumbia, rumba and much much more.

P.S. Other Notes: (1) These are really fun ballroom and line dance parties.  This is Thursday night ballroom and line dancing in San Diego. This is the best Thursday night cumbia dancing in San Diego, with many types of dance. While the dancing and music are non-stop, there are dancers who are happy to give free dance one-on-one lessons during the dances, in case you don't know the steps of a particular dance.
