Report About Sept 15th

Hello Dancers,
This week I'm trying to put two pictures into the email without attaching them, to reduce email size.  Let me know if you do not like this method.
There was some very energetic line dancing this past Wednesday September 15th, during FOREVER YOUNG NIGHT as part of Lucky Star Restaurant's weekly 'Filipino Night'.  When rollicking country-rock songs 'Blame' and 'Chattahoochee' were played, Bert Alota led some FOREVER YOUNGSTERS in the liveliest line dancing that I can remember.
There were about 35 happy FOREVER YOUNGSTERS and about 15 other party-goers.  PASCCO Senior Queen Lita, in all her radiant elegance, was there. DJ Eric, the One-Man Band, played 9 line dances and about 35 other ballroom dances between 7pm-9:30pm.  Five dances each got about 25 dancers onto the floor:  "Riverdance Tango", "Lady In Red", "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", "In The Mood Swing Medley", and "Boca Con Boca" a cha cha.   Among line dances,  "Coco Jamboo", "Tennessee Waltz' and "September" all were popular.
Come on over and join the fun, frolic and laughter:  Once again, this coming week FOREVER YOUNG NIGHT will again be WEDNESDAY NIGHT (September 22nd)  in the LUCKY STAR RESTAURANT from 6 to 9:30pm.

LINE DANCE TUESDAYS (free!) - About 20 line dancers showed up on Tuesday September 14th for line dancing led by the ever-energetic Nina at Point Point Joint.  The night was special in that Nitz and Norma, 32nd Street Dance Group regulars, joined us and exchanged some line dance steps.  They showed us "Everything I Do Got To Be Funky", and they got to see "Tennessee Waltz" and "September".
Come join the fun this coming Tuesday (September 21st) at Point Point Joint, 916 E. 8th Street, National City, 6:00-9:00, when Nina will again lead us through fun line dances.

OTHER HAPPENINGS:
Wednesday karaoke and some dancing 9pm-1am at  Jasmine Restaurant on Convoy Street, hosted by Kristina, the Filipina karaoke queen.
Friday night dances:  There are 3 that begin variously between 7 or 8pm and go till about 11pm: the 32nd Street Dance Group on the Naval Station, the Poway Group, and the relatively new RMX Group that meets in the Studio FX, 9499 Kearny Villa Road near Mira Mar Road.
Monday-Friday, roughly 9am-noon, Tooma Park Seniors, meet under a cabana at Bay Terraces Park, 7449 Tooma Street, San Diego.

PHOTOS:
OK, let's see how this turns out.  First of all is my favorite from last week's line dancing, dancers moving in all directions.

Then, from Lucky Star of Sept 15th, we have Nina and her friends at their table.

I have posted those plus 16 other photos from the past week in the Forever Young Group Photos section in the '2010 September' folder.  For those of you who prefer the features of Google's Picasa Web Albums, and you who are non-Yahoo members, the September photos are also posted at
